I couldn’t be more pleased with every aspect of my treatment. Professor Gartry and his team were meticulous and caring from the first appointment to the last post op checkup. During the actual operations Professor Gartry explained everything that he was doing and was very reassuring so that I remained calm and relaxed throughout. The procedure was quick and virtually painless both during and afterwards.
I am extremely pleased with the results. I can see clearly for both distance and near vision. I no longer need any glasses or contact lens. I can see to drive and play tennis, which I expected but I can also sew and read even the smallest print unaided, which with varifocal glasses and mono contact lenses I struggled to do. For the first time in more years than I care to remember I no longer have to reach for my glasses the moment I wake up. It’s a wonderful feeling.
