Andy Hickman has laser eye surgery with David Gartry

The idea of having surgery on the eye can understandably make you feel anxious. When it comes to something as important as eyesight I knew that I needed to make a well informed choice of surgeon. David Gartry’s credentials are exemplary and lifted some of these worries. After my consultation I felt confident that I was with the right team to look after me. On the day of the surgery everything was clearly explained to me and as a result I felt at ease. David is excellent during the procedure. He has a natural ability to make you feel calm and talk you through each stage. Personally, I’ve ended up with better than 20/20 vision, which I’m very pleased with.
