I felt confident immediately with Professor Gartry’s history in this area, and more so after the first consultation. Everything is explained clearly, and all the risks are outlined.

I am also happy with the choice of Lasek. Although the recovery period has taken longer, I feel safe with doing any type of activities. To give a clearer picture: the first week I took off work and glad I did as the eyesight is quite unstable and use of the eye drops is constant and necessary to stop the stinging. I did go through a lot of tissues! There after the vision improved significantly within the first month, but not quite 100%. After a couple of months, everything is perfect.
