Like many old folk, the two things most important to me are my eyes and the thought of someone messing about with them was not good at all.
However, like Prince Phillip. I had a near miss in my car, turning a corner onto a major road and being blinded by the low spring sunshine, Time to screw up courage! Mrs Hambro agreed, and indeed was insistent.
Having had the two procedures, I am delighted with the result and can only say that the whole thing was beautifully and smoothly handled. Everything was well explained. It was totally pain free. I was in and out in hours and I am delighted with the result. Best of all, I feel much more comfortable about crossing the road without being hit by a maniac on a scooter.
