I first met Professor Gartry in 2007 to have- laser surgery for my life long shortsight and ended up with perfect vision for many years. The procedure had been painless and without any side effects so that, when , with age , cataracts developed I did not hesitate to return to Professor Gartry and his team at Moorfields Hospital.
