I am immensely pleased with the results. I have been wearing contact lenses since my early 20s and have been wanting laser surgery for a number of years but was worried about the procedure. I needn’t have been. Professor David Gartry was reassuring throughout and gave me a good indication of how my eyesight would be following surgery. In fact, the end result was better. I am in my 40s now and another clinic had advised that the surgery would likely mean I would need reading glasses straight away. With Professor Gartry’s help, this hasn’t been the case. I accept I will need reading glasses in the next few years but it is amazing to be glasses and contact lenses free once again. I would absolutely recommend Professor Gartry and his team at the Wimpole Eye Clinic
