I cannot recommend The Wimpole Eye Clinic and Dr David Gartry highly enough. My eyesight deteriorated extremely quickly over a very short period of time, and the level of care I received was exceptional from start to finish.

Dr Gartry kindly saw me for an emergency appointment at very short notice, immediately understood the urgency of the situation, and went above and beyond to fit me in for cataract surgery far sooner than expected — incredibly, over the Christmas period, which I understand is highly unusual.

The surgery itself was seamless, and a few month’s on the results have been life-changing. Dr Gartry’s professionalism, expertise, and calm reassurance throughout the process gave me complete confidence at what was a very worrying time.

Professor Gartry was recommended by my friend, who also underwent very successful cataract surgery by him. As my cataract was on my main eye, the other being a lazy eye, I was super cautious to ensure the best treatment.
