Highly recommended for refractive surgery/vision correction (lasik, lasek). I underwent lasek (a type of corneal surface ablation) 3 months ago and the results are astonishing (I had myopia and pronounced astigmatism). I had dry eyes before, and still do but it hasn’t gotten significantly worse (I believe the risk may be higher with lasik). Although recovery takes longer with lasek in my view it’s well worth it because the outcomes are exactly the same as lasik and no corneal flap is created.
