A letter from Dr Anthony Norden

We love receiving heartwarming notes from our patients. Recently we received one from Dr. Anthony Norden and it was so great to see – in particular, because his prescription was so high before the surgery (-23D !!). He said he was happy to share the good news, so here we are:

“Dear Wimpole Eye Clinic,

I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to Professor Gartry for the lens replacement he carried out on my left eye two days ago.

It is difficult to express the extraordinary improvement in my vision in that eye. I have had relatively poor vision in both eyes all my life related to high myopia. 

I fully appreciate that I am not ‘out of the woods’ yet but the transformation in acuity, image size and quite unexpectedly, colour saturation has been transforming.
