I had Lasek laser eye surgery in July this year for short-sightedness (-7). Professor Gartry and team were absolutely superb from first consultation through to surgery, recovery and final sign-off. Every detail very thoroughly covered, every question answered and the team there to support and advise at every stage. I had been very wary of getting my eyes “done” for many years. Prof Gartry and team came highly recommended by a friend, so I finally decided to go for it and am so glad that I did – life-changing!!

Having had minus 10 shortsightedness in both eyes I was warned that the best I could realistically hope for from bilateral Lasek was to end up around minus 1 – 2.
