As a long sighted patient with a high + prescription results were less predictable but I’m happy to say that my vision is nearly perfect and I have to thank professor Gartry and his team for their expertise, professionalism and kindness during every visit to the clinic.

The treatment has been life changing. Now that I have had it I wonder how I ever got by without it. I highly recommend the treatment to anyone interested, especially if you have an interest in contact sports like myself. David Gartry and his team at the Wimpole Eye Clinic were fantastic on the day of the surgery and during my recovery period. I also recommend closely following the advice given on eye drops and remember to take your painkiller drops especially in the first few days after the surgery. From assessment to procedure to aftercare, the care I received was fantastic. Every question and query was answered. All clinicians were friendly and helpful. My sight is incredible and the procedure has changed my life for the better. The procedure itself went smoothly and although some parts a little uncomfortable, every effort was made by Professor Gartry and his team to make me feel at ease. Prof. Gartry inspired my confidence at the first meeting. He explained everything carefully and thoroughly, as I had a lotof questions. I have been extremely happy with my laser eye surgery experience with Dr David Gartry from beginning to end. I had a high astigmatism and was unsure if I would be a suitable candidate but the results have been amazing and I have been very happy with the after care. Having LASIK was by far the best decision I have aver made and I wish I had done it sooner.
