I had a reasonably high prescription (-6 and -5) and was a little skeptical that the treatment would work yet it did and so quickly too. By the next morning, I could see perfectly and I now have better than 20-20 vision. This is honestly life changing and I felt in very safe hands with Professor Gartry.

I didn’t want to trust just anyone with my eyes so came straight to Professor Gartry and I’m so glad I did. No pressure at any stage to go ahead with the procedure before I was sure and all efforts taken to ensure I understood any risks before going ahead (though they are minimal).

I was understandably apprehensive about having eye surgery. I had a high prescription (-6 to -7) with astigmatism in both eyes. Professor Gartry and his team were absolutely fantastic. From the welcoming team (at Wimpole Eye Clinic and Moorfields), the many eye examiners, nurses and Professor Gartry himself – everyone has been superb. I cannot recommend and his team highly enough. I am delighted to say that I have excellent vision, in fact, my combined eyes could now pass the fighter jet test!
