I am extremely pleased with the results of my laser surgery. It’s absolutely fantastic not to be wearing glasses! Professor Gartry’s treatment was very organised, thorough and professional – from the initial consultation, to the operation itself and the aftercare. I appreciated his assessment of risk and explanation of what to expect. He was very calm and reassuring during the procedure (which I appreciated as I was quite anxious). Instructions about when/how to administer the drops after the procedure were good and I am glad I had enough anesthetic drops to use during the first week (especially for the nights). I have recommended Professor Gartry to several people, at least one of whom has now been treated by him.
An excellent procedure, and I can very happily recommend Prof Gartry and his team. They managed to fit me in at short notice for a medical test for a new job and the recovery time was much quicker than I thought. The aftercare was good and I’ve had no complications and have better than 20/20 vision having previously been short sighted and astigmatic, so that I could barely see the eye chart! A worthwhile investment.

I underwent my first procedure, which drastically improved my vision. However, I was left with very mild short-sightedness in the left eye. Professor Gartry offered me a fine tuning procedure. This went very well, I completely recovered overnight and now I have perfect vision!
The process of the eye surgery with Dr Gartry and his team has been very smooth from start to finish. Any queries / issues have been clearly explained together with any potential further treatment required.
