I was really happy with my surgery. It went incredibly well and the whole team looked after me. After a little discomfort in the first week which can provoke anxiety, I was given reassurance that it would clear…and it did. I now have perfect vision and it has been a life changing experience with young children and for someone who leads an active and sporty lifestyle.
Swimming is a far more enjoyable experience now.

I could not be more pleased or grateful. My eyesight, both long distance and for reading, is improved immeasurably (at least immeasurably for a layman!), with better than 20/20 long distance vision (I didn’t know there was any better eyesight than 20/20). I am very appreciative of not just David Gartry’s skill but the quiet sense of authority he shows. I know that the succsss rate with cataract surgery is very high, but it’s still your eyesight you’re dealing with. So the confidence he instilled in advance is a considerable blessing.

Absolutely delighted with the results of my surgery and the care given. Am a generally a nervous patient and it was a huge decision for me to have the surgery, Professor Gartry and his team put my mind at rest and have been on hand at all times to alleviate any of my worries. Getting up in the morning and being able to see is quite possibly the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me, wish I had done it sooner!

Am very pleased with the procedure and the results. Recovery time was minimal and my vision is excellent. This was my second visit, since two and a half years after initial surgery I had a minor regression and I’m happy that the refinement surgery has now corrected the issue.
