Very worthwhile, LASEK was recommended for me and the long term benefits are worth it. Good all round care from all people with the David Gartry team. The surgery has been very good for, travel, sport and work.

I had LASIK’s treatment with Professor Gatry in July of 2016 to treat astigmatism in both eyes. Everything about the procedure went as predicted by the team at Moorfields. The surgery itself was quick and painless. The recovery process followed an 8 week pattern which again was outlined at the start.
I am now 5 months in, and have 20/20 vision and never find myself needing eye drops or any other form of visual aid. From my perspective the whole process has been a complete success and I would recommend it to anyone looking to correct astigmatism.
The Moorfields team were excellent, kind, considerate, efficient. Prof Gartry recommended that I opt for mono vision, which has been a great success – I now have excellent distance and reading vision, no need for glasses. Wonderful!
