Very happy with outcome to date
A year on and my vision is great. For the first time I can see when I go swimming. Skiing with no glasses or contact lenses was remarkable. Simple everyday tasks are easier – no glasses fogging up when the oven is opened!
Amazing nurses and staff. Surgery went very smoothly too.
One thing that was tricky was trying to get a hold of staff on the phone to make appointments etc. At times it took 2 days to get through….

An absolutely fantastic experience. At every step I felt like I was being given the best possible care. Easy to get through on the phone for questions, very informative staff at all levels, and the actual procedure was quick and easy. I had a little trouble finding the hospital at my first follow-up appointment, although at that point the outpatient clinic had only just moved to its new location and not all signage was in place. Extremely polite and professional staff, and fantastic aftercare. I sincerely feel that I have been given my money’s worth and more.
Very excellent care and treatment from everybody. I can’t believe the improvement in my eyesight, from very poor to better than 20/20. Despite all the warnings that their might be some small pain and it might take a while for me to fully recover, I had no pain and my eyesight improved astonishingly quickly. I couldn’t recommend the entire experience and professor Gartry’s team enough. If in doubt- do it!

Completely life-changing- I’m so glad I had it done! The whole process with David Gartry and his team was reassuring and straightforward. From the friendly reception staff and coffee in the waiting room, to the eye tests and procedure itself- I found my experience excellent.
