It took me a long time to make the decision to have surgery and in that time the advice changed from laser surgery to lens replacement. Professor Garty gave me all the relevant information as to the advantages of this change and how it would benefit me in the long term. I have mono vision, my left eye for reading and right for distance. I have an astigmatism in the right eye and was advise that that eye needed a toric lens.
I am so delighted with the results and the care I have received. I now have 20:20 vision and no need for glasses or contact lenses. I would not hesitate to recommend this surgery to anyone it was quick and painless. The skill and technology is amazing.

I’ve worn contact lenses for 20 years and after a while I became intolerant. I was nervous undergoing the surgery but my optometrist recommended Prof. David Garty. I plucked up the courage and went for the consultation. I went away, gave it some thought and decided to go with it. Going from -5 to RAF fighter pilot vision within 24h was truly amazing.

I’ve been in for my final check up and confirmed that my vision is brilliant.

It’s just dawned on me how much of a hindrance going to the gym, swimming and other activities used to be.
