I have had a very good experience with David Gartry. I begin by highlighting the exceptional customer service, from the pre and post surgery appointments to the constant availability of assistants to help (I had been concerned early on about an eyelash in my eye but the doctors assistant took me in on short notice and sorted the issue out). The surgery itself went very well; the doctors voice was very soothing and although slightly discomforting I did feel at ease throughout. I knew I was in the best hands. I must say that paying a higher price for the surgery in order to get somebody of the David Gartry’s calibre and expertise is the correct course of action. I trusted him with my eyes and I felt throughout that I was truly in the best hands. I now can relish at the opportunity to live with 20/20 vision after a few slightly discomforting minutes of surgery. I would recommend David to anybody considering the surgery. This is a one-off procedure (if done correctly) and it is important to ensure that it is done by the best = David Gartry.
I am really pleased that Prof. David did my eye surgery. I was worried about the surgery but when I saw the team and the Prof. They explained everything to me which gave me the full confidence about it. The team were very kind and caring. Everything about the surgery have been explained well to me before the surgery and even in the surgery the Prof. give instructions about what is going to happen which made me feel comfortable, after the surgery there was some instructions given to me in addition to the ability to call and ask about any inquiries I have. Thank you Prof. David and the lovely teem I met.
Although my shortsightedness was relatively mild, I had difficulty with wearing contact lenses for years which made my vision worse and caused sore eyes. Having laser eye surgery has transformed my vision. No more faffing with lenses. It’s fantastic to be able to see tree leaves in detail again! David and his team took very good care of me.
Very diligent and professional service and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Very helpful and thorough team. I had a minor problem a month after surgery and they fitted me in the same day with no notice to sort it out, which they did. The open door policy after treatment made for an very supportive experience.

The change was instant and amazing my distance vision is completely transformed. My short sight is less and will require reading glasses for close work and I am getting used to the reversal .
I had my initial consultation on a Thursday & they managed to fit me in for the surgery on the next Saturday! Everything was well explained including payment methods. Interest free credit was certainly a bonus! Throughout the surgery Professor Garty kept me informed with how the surgery was going which I found very helpful.
