I would highly recommend LASIK surgery to anyone who wishes to be free from the constant pain of spectacle and contact lense wearing. When you look back after completing the surgery you will surely laugh at your ungrounded anxieties. The minuscule, temporary uncomfortability is worth its weight in gold!
Very pleased with whole procedure and outcome.
My vision was borderline and I was forever putting on and taking off my glasses. Professor Gartry suggested that I have treatment on one eye only. This corrected my distance vision whilst allowing me to read without reading glasses.
The procedure itself was painless, low stress, low impact with just 24 hours of minor discomfort and 2-3 weeks of eye drops.
Since then my vision has been excellent and I have been able to enjoy skiing, running, etc without the encumbrance of requiring glasses.
Extremely happy with the results. Love being able to travel without the need for glasses or contact lenses. (more…)
After wearing glasses or contact lenses for over 55 years I am delighted that I have the freedom without them after having new lenses in both eyes. I cannot fault the treatment by David Gartry and his team.
