Very happy with the operation and aftercare service.

I had my lasik back in March with Prof Gartry, and honestly like anyone I was quite concerned what the process might involve. On the day of surgery, it was a 15 min process, and David makes you feel very comfortable and constantly informs you in what stage of the surgery we are at- feels very assuring. By the end of it you feel a little hazy for rest of the day, but within 24 hours I had perfect vision. It was a remarkable feeling, words can’t express that. I had check up 48 hours after the surgery, and David confirmed I was at a vision level equal to an Air Force pilot. And today, my check up after 3 months, my vision has in fact improved further and I can currently see better than 20:20. I feel delighted, and this is due to the care and perfection of Mr Gartry and his team in lasik. Thanks a ton and keep the great work going, all the best.

The whole LASIK process was as stress-free as it could have been which put me at ease during surgery. I am extremely happy with the results, with my vision better than it’s ever been and none of the downsides that went with wearing contact lenses. I would strongly recommend the surgery.

A faultless process all round and my vision is now significantly better than it was with glasses before the operation. The world is a brighter, sharper, more beautiful place than it was before. Couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome!

I’ve had a very positive experience with Mr Gartry and I am delighted with the outcome. I have worn glasses since the age of 7 and contact lenses since age 13 – that is 21 years of short sight! Last year I finally decided to investigate laser eye surgery, after my sister in law had lasik with Mr Gartry. I phoned the clinic and had a lengthy conversation with Andrew, who explained everything in detail and patiently answered my hundreds of questions – thank you, Andrew! After speaking to him I knew that I wanted to go ahead. The whole procedure was completed in a weekend as I live in France and came over for a weekend especially to have the LASIK. Everything was fine and Mr Gartry was so calm and kind during the procedure and put me at ease. Five months on I have the eyesight of a hawk and I am so happy to be free of contact lenses and, of course, my awful short sight! Thank you Mr Gartry and everyone in his clinic!

I had my eyes lasered at the end of February 2015. My prescription was mainly astigmatism, I was very happy with all the service at the lasik appointment and have had perfect vision since. My four month check up has confirmed my 20:20 vision and I’ve been discharged. One of the best things I’ve ever done!!
